Banquetly (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Banquetly event management platform at banquetly.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Organization data: property name, timezone, currency, and team member details you enter.
  • Event data: event names, dates, guest lists, floor plans, and BEO content you create.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and browser/device type, collected automatically via analytics.
  • Payment data: billing information is handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and is not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Banquetly service.
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, team invitations).
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the Asia-Pacific region. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and row-level security policies to ensure each organization can only access its own data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
  • Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Stripe — payment processing (billing data only).
  • Sentry — error monitoring (anonymised stack traces).

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Banquetly, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session token) and preference cookies (dark mode, snap grid settings). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from logging in.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days to allow recovery, then permanently delete it. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing privacy@banquetly.app.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@banquetly.app.
